Message from the Headteacher

Dear all,

Namaste and a warm greeting!

Ridi Secondary School (RSS) founded before 2007 BS has now entered in to the seventy years of its inception.  With our theme "Education for Life", RSS has celebrated the wonderful years of excellence in education and its achievements, success and glory.  In fact, almost a century years in the history of an academia is a magnificent achievement.  Since its inception as a Gulmi Middle School, it started imparting quality education up to grade seven. Then, in 2021BS, as Ridi Secondary School, it started imparting education up to Grade ten.   Again the implementation of Higher Secondary Level Curricula in 2054 in Management and Education Streams has been marked with great success and has provided our students with the wonderful opportunity to study Management and Education courses.  Today RSS has established itself as one of the finest schools in our area for the dynamic and holistic learning opportunities it offers.

RSS strives to be a happy school for the students with the attribute of student centered, value based and skillful education leading to the theme "Come to learn and go to earn".   As one of the leading schools, RSS pursues distinctions in all the dimensions of education: academic arena, sports, art and culture, humanitarianism and most importantly in the building of character in an individual.

Teachers are said to be designers of the students' minds.  They play the role of the catalyst to cause change in others.  They help children to grow into good students.  So, merely teaching textual content should not be out purpose.  Our teaching should race up ahead to keep pace with the concept of ICT in education.  RSS is heading ahead teaching students in the classrooms digitally to accelerate the proximity of technology in modern context.  Looking at the world trend in education, we have prepared a long term plan to develop RSS as an ICT friendly academia.

Now I wish to thank those who have made RSS enjoy this status today.  I would like to acknowledge the visit of Honorable Finance Minister Dr. Yuba Raj Khatiwada and our former student Honourable Foreign Minister Mr. Pradip Kumar Gnawali to our school. In pursuit of excellence I appreciate our parents' fraternity for supporting school in every aspect.  The involvement of alumni and community in our school is vital to our success.  I congratulate the entire school family for their hard work and dedication.  I appreciate the relentless effort of our faculty and administrative staff for giving their best in bring out the best in each student.  I would exhort the students to be always innovative, modest, disciplined while being ready to expand the horizon of their knowledge and skills by dreaming big and working hard.
