School History

Shree Ridi Secondary School has a long and reputed history in the educational scenario of this area. Established in 2007 B. S. in the era of the Rana Regime, it has achieved success over hurdles and barriers, and come to a glorious position today. In the establishment phase, it was named as Gulmi Middle School. In 2020 B. S., it was called HrishikeshViddyalaya. Then it turned to Ridi High School in 2021 B. S., and Ridi Secondary School in 2031 B. S. After 2054 B. S., it was named after Ridi Higher Secondary School. But with an introduction of new education policy after the promulgation of the constitution of 2072 B. S., it has been running as Ridi Secondary School. Presently, it has been carrying classes from Early Child Development(ECD) to 12 class with an aim to producing a highly qualitative manpower by converting this school to a Model School.
